Garden Design + Consultation is a landscape design company with focus in residential, commercial and public design. Since 2013, Laura has been focusing on creating landscape designs that blend the edge between architecture and landscape, and between landscape and the surrounding environment. GDC strives to provide clients with comprehensive planning and designs that exceed expectations.
Hi, I am Laura (Palimeno) Leonard and I established Garden Design + Consultation in 2013 on the Outer Banks of North Carolina after relocating from New Jersey. In 2020 I moved back to NJ and have since broadened my horizon, allowing no boundaries in which I work.
My bachelor of science degree in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University has helped get me to where I am today, but my main source of knowledge comes from the guidance of my dad, Joe Palimeno, who is an international award-winning landscape designer and owner of design/build company, Ledden Palimeno Landscape Co.
Along with my BSLA degree, I am recognized by the American Society of Landscape Architects as a qualified member and landscape designer.
